THE STORY CONTINUES...

That grumpy bugger - Doc Martin - is back for a fifth series in 2011. The story picks up after the birth of Martin and Louisa's son. Will Martin return to his post as Portwenn's GP? Will fatherhood help the Doc to mellow? Will he and Louisa play happy families? Of course not! The road to happiness will no doubt be fraught with an array of delightfully entertaining challenges.

The Doc Martin Series 5 Blog follows the progress of Series 5 from filming to post-episode dissection, and everything in between. It will endeavour to keep you up-to-date with all that's happening in and around Portwenn.

The Quest for Doc Martin...

Below are some photos taken from a blog, which details one person's (accidental it would seem) foray into the filming of Doc Martin. The blogger is one of those lucky people who headed to Port Isaac to check out the location of Doc Martin and then happened upon filming!     Thank you for mentioning my posts, "The Quest for Doc Martin," from my blog, 2ndhandpaper.blogspot.com on your blog. My husband was born in Cornwall; and we try to return once every year or two to visit family in Mevagissey. The artist, Pat Vivod, who created the silk scarf, was thrilled to get the autograph and a few pebbles from the harbor beach when we returned to the States. I have enjoyed reading your blog and look forward to Season 5!
