THE STORY CONTINUES...

That grumpy bugger - Doc Martin - is back for a fifth series in 2011. The story picks up after the birth of Martin and Louisa's son. Will Martin return to his post as Portwenn's GP? Will fatherhood help the Doc to mellow? Will he and Louisa play happy families? Of course not! The road to happiness will no doubt be fraught with an array of delightfully entertaining challenges.

The Doc Martin Series 5 Blog follows the progress of Series 5 from filming to post-episode dissection, and everything in between. It will endeavour to keep you up-to-date with all that's happening in and around Portwenn.

Filling the gap...

Wondering what to do to fill the days until Series 5 heats up? If you enjoy a bit of fan inspired fiction, you could always pop over to FanFiction.net and see if any tales tickle your fancy. You may even decide to pick up a pen and scratch down some of your own musings. Or, more accurately, you might decide to turn on the computer and tap out the wild imaginings that come to you in the magic hour when the line between dreams and reality begins to blur. Anything is possible in the world of FanFic!

If Fan Fiction isn’t quite your cup of tea, and you prefer to head into Series 5 unsullied by the clever concoctions of others, keep your eyes peeled here, as a few magic moments from Series 4 may just start to crop up and you can reminisce about the days of yore!
